Pendik Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School
Pendik Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was established in the academic year of 1995-1996 with the approval of the Directorate General of the Technical Education under the Ministry of National Education numbered 3402 and dated 29.05.1995. Our school was founded to provide general culture and English training at the high school level, train qualified personnel for the maritime sector and students who may proceed with university education. Our school was previously called “Pendik Maritime Vocational High School” since its inception up until the academic year of 2014-2015. It was then renamed as “Pendik Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School” in the academic year of 2014-2015.
The graduates of Maritime can obtain “Restricted Watch-Keeping Officer” license in the field of Deck Operations and “Restricted Engineer Officer” in the field of Ship Engine Operations. Graduates of Ship Construction field could be employed at ship building sector as ship builder/ship building technician.
