Our school was founded in the academic year of 2017-2018 and named after Cizreli Ebul-iz who lived between 1133 and 1206. This scientist, better known as El Cezeri, was an inventor who manufactured centuries ago machinery powered only by water and mechanic pieces without electricity; which makes him one of the pioneers of renewable and green energy.

The design of our school building was prepared in the scope of “Project on Promoting Energy Efficiency in Buildings in Turkey” implemented by the Directorate General of Renewable Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources with the financial support of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the construction of the school cost 23 million 600 thousand TRY which was covered by a State Investment Project.

Our school has three parts: main building, boarding house and sports hall. The school has a surface area of 22.000 square meters approximately and 18 classrooms, 10 workshops, 6 laboratories and a boarding house with 147 beds.

Solar electric system and wind turbine are used as sources of renewable energy. 80% of our school’s energy needs will be met using these sources, which will also help us achieve savings as our school generates its own energy thanks to the technology that it has.
