Bursa Mimar Sinan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School
Our school was opened under the name of Bursa Ucuz Meskenler Industrial High School in Ucuz Meskenler district of Bursa during the 1989-1990 school year; it started education with a total of 308 students in the Electricity, Leveling and Metal Works departments.
In line with the article 7 of the Regulation on Opening, Closing and Naming of Institutions Affiliated to the Ministry of National Education stating that ““the names of people who are famous in our history can be given to institutions” and as per the decision No. 88/14 of Bursa Provincial Directorate of National Education Advisory Board and the approval of the Ministry dated 06.07.1990 and numbered 8899, the name of our school was changed to Bursa Mimar Sinan Industrial Vocational High School.
In 1991 – 1992 school year, Technical High School Machinery field and Furniture and Decoration field were opened in our school,
In 1994 – 1995 school year, Anatolian Technical High School Machinery field.
In 1996 – 1997 school year, Anatolian Vocational High School term was added to the name of our school and its name was changed to Bursa Mimar Sinan Anatolian Technical High School, Technical High School and Industrial Vocational High School.
In 2003 – 2004 school year, Information Technologies field, and in 2005 – 2006 school year, Electronic field were launched in our school.
In 2009 – 2010 school year, Machinery Technology field and Wood Technology field were launched.
During the 2nd semester of 2014-2015 school year, an additional building started to provide services. In 2015 – 2016 school year, Motor vehicles technology field was launched.
The name of our school was changed to Mimar Sinan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School within the scope of Circular No. 2014/8 on Reducing School Diversity in Vocational and Technical Secondary Education.
