WHAT?

Realising multi-directional activities under the title of Quality, Education and Communication in order to reach to a up-to-date, qualified, measurable, sustainable vocational and technical education which would meet the needs of business world and students.

Carrying vocational education in Turkey to a quality assurance system.

WHY?

Global and local economy becomes more competetive each day. In this competitive environment, need for qualified labor increases. To eliminate youth unemployment, to create a qualified work force potential meeting the needs of business environment, to reach to a vocational and technical education system equipped with national quality assurance.

HOW?

By listening to every segment of society and understanding their needs and expectations. By examining success stories in the field of vocational education and taking lessons. By establishing a national quality assurance system for vocational education. By forming an approach within this strategy and applying it in pilot schools. By evaluating the results and generalizing it in all regions of Turkey. By training educators, improving the curriculum and raising awareness about the developments in the field of vocational education.

WHERE?

In 21 pilot provinces and selected application schools. Pilot provinces:

Ağrı, Bingöl, Bitlis, Çorum, Diyarbakır, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Hakkari, Iğdır, Kahramanmaraş, Kastamonu, Kilis, Mardin, Muş, Ordu, Rize, Sivas, Siirt, Trabzon, Van and Yozgat.

WHEN?

Between May 2012 and May 2014.

To school managers, teachers, students, business world, social partners, families and other all social actors...
