METEK Project Curriculum Development Workshop Held in Mardin

The workshop was held at Mardin Artuklu Anatolian High School on 07 – 09 May 2014 under the Project’s Training Component. Totally 16 teachers from relevant vocational and technical education schools attended the workshop organized within the scope of curriculum development work.

Rıza Ayaz, Branch Manager of Mardin Provincial Directorate of National Education and Şennur Çetin, Directorate General of Vocational and Technical Education, Acting Head of Social Partners and Projects Department participated in the workshop. Staff from the fields of Justice, Marine, Ship Building, Child Development, Food Technology, Nursing of Patient and Old Persons, Livestock Raising and Animal Health, Agriculture Technology and Gardening, Laboratory Services and Medical Laboratory took part in the workshop as well.

The workshop was coordinated by Directorate General of Vocational and Technical Education, Programmes and Learning Materials Department. Participants developed training standards that had previously been prepared within the scope of occupational analysis and framework teaching programmes.
